DistalProx was created to solve a problem experienced every day in hospitals and procedure rooms.
Medical device sales representatives, physicians, nurses, and clinical support staff often need immediate access to accurate device information. Whether it's channel size, working length, wire compatibility, or tip design, those answers are frequently needed in situations where time is limited and accuracy is essential. Printed binders are not always available, manufacturer websites can be difficult to navigate, and waiting for a callback is not always practical.
DistalProx was built to provide a fast, reliable, and easy to use reference that delivers verified device information when and where it is needed. Whether you are a sales representative preparing for a physician meeting, a clinician at the point of care, or a procurement professional comparing products, DistalProx puts the information you need at your fingertips.
What We Built
DistalProx is a mobile reference application currently covering GI and endoscopy devices from the leading manufacturers in the industry. Device information is presented in a consistent format, making it easy to compare products across manufacturers.
Each device entry is built using manufacturer documentation, FDA 510(k) clearance information, and other reliable published resources. When available, relevant clinical studies are also included to provide additional context and supporting evidence.
The app is designed for speed, accuracy, and ease of use, allowing users to quickly search, compare, and evaluate devices in busy clinical environments.
